Very interesting and great way to do it. I don't know why I didnt think of it.
I have a 92 camaro vert. with a '94 383 lt1 with boost. Long story short. I did the dizzy hole. and dropped in a msd pro billet distrib.(welded up my timing cover opti hole and waterpump hole.) allso millled the inside so I could run a double roller timing chain.

Im using my factory 92harness / ecm 7730 running $59 code. (www.code59.org) for Boost. It gets the job done. But I'd like to swap to the "411" for ease of tuning, etc..

Instead of talking up your post, can you email me some info / PN#'s etc.. FSTFBDY@gmail.com

latest update; the Intake mod was botched, the distributor hole was 1/4 inch off of center, this caused the distributor gear to wear "grind" down, thus shelling the motor completely. no compression at all!!! I aquired a replacement LT1, for time sake I went with the TPI intake,(distributor is in the right place) yes it does run out at 5600r's but after all it is in a truck, it has torque out the butt!!! and is still a lot of fun. I will return to the dyno as soon as possable for a numbers read. pictures comming of the "NEW" setup. if anyone is interisted in a SBC under MPFI I have a couple others that I am working with. Might could start a thread???

it has been a long time!! I wanted you all to know that within the next 30 days I should be back into full R & D mode again. sory for the delay, it has not been a good 12 months at the Bender household. I now have a 1976 El Camino to use as a test Mule, if it isnt running I have no pressure which will allow me to think clearer ---- I hope ---- maybe a little less of this >>

stay tuned.

Glad to see you back on it!

Sometimes you just need a year (or three) to get back into the mood .
