Default B body guys a little help pls

Thinking about picking up a MINT Roadmaster sedan tomorrow with 100k.

What do I look for to identify an LT1 from the 4.3 baby engine? I know the 327 on the block but not sure if you can see that by looking. Under the hood.

Also what's a ball park price again this is mint, 100k, brand new tires heated leather, etc.

I normally check the tag with the belt routing. It will have the engine size on it. I know a sticker could have easily been placed on there but if its mint....
I would imagine a price of about 3800-5000 depending on the situation.

Its an LT1. I'm going to pick it up. You guys won't believe the price. Or maybe you will.

Either way it's a good deal for a pimp LT1 daily driver.

IIRC the 4.3L L99 is only available in the Caprice. Fleetwoods and Roadies only got the LT1.....

really no ****, thats a deal. I had one 2 years ago that I paid 1500 for and it was in really clean shape with 130k on it...So I figured you paid the same or close to what I paid

Yeah Im gonna get it for 1500. For the shape it's in its a really good deal. Unless I get there and he doctored the photos LOL.

They are ALL going for 2800-6000 around here and all with more miles and more mechanical issues.

I plan to get this thing and meticulously maintain it and see how close to 300k I can get on here.

THEN SPRAY IT

The L99 was only availible in Caprices. However, you also find LT1s in Caprices, Fleetwoods, Roadmasters and Impalas.

Does anybody have a pic of a Roadmaster with any wheels OTHER than the Impala SS wheels.

It has the grandpa spoke hubcaps on there right now and thats about the only thing I want to change other than a few simple things and a tune.

Also is swapping them to OBD I as easy as an F body?

Perfect. Literally.

Car needs a few things, has a cracked windshield etc but is otherwise good to go.

I think all you need is the OBD1 PCM and 94-95 Knock Sensors.
