Default Low Oil Sensor Block Off

My low oil light has been coming on and off and I looked under the car and seen that the wires had been tore out of the low oil level sensor and it was leaking oil from the center of it. I went and priced a new one at oreillys and they wanted like $35.00 for a new sensor. I then found out that a Dorman oil drain plug part # 090-040 would make a perfect plug for the hole that the oil level sensor came out of and it only cost $2.29 at oreillys. After I installed the oil drain plug I just wired the 2 wires together that go to the sensor and the light has not come on anymore. I just figured I would let everyone know that I found this cheap plug if you are wanting to remove the low oil level sensor from your LT1.

Yep, that is the size. Something in the 15-20 mm length should do.
