Default who tunes cars in the chicagoland area?

I was going to have Speed Inc tune the car and I was dealing with Larry at Speed Inc. Then today I call to talk to Larry about getting the car tuned and im told he is no longer with Speed Inc. So who else dyno tunes in the chicagoland area. Speed Inc said they couldnt til June at the earliest. Im wanting to get this finished up soon. Also if anybody does OBD2 mail order tunes please let me know. I might consider it.

I would wait for Jim at Speedinc. Maybe have Ed Wright do mail order until Jim can fit you in if you cant wait. It does suck about Larry leaving doesnt it!

+2 On Ed Wright, he isn't cheap, but he is quick and methodical about his work.

I would rather not pay $350 for a base tune and then another $500 for a dyno tune.

I talked to Ed this afternoon and was very impressed. I think I am going to call him back tomorrow to go over everything one final time. If everything goes well I might be sending my pcm off by Thursday.

I use Brian in Chicagoland. He books a dyno and I meet him there, he's a good guy and priced reasonably and has supported me in what I needed and the best part is I got to be there with him and he explained everything he was doing and why. if you want his info PM me.

Pass on Straightline. I've dealt with Ed and Ion before. Both are good choices. You could also try Larry's new employer. He is still a member on here.

I ended up sending the PCM to Ed yesterday. After talking with him I was very impressed and his turn around time was going to be very quick. Im hoping to have the PCM back by the middle to end of next week.
