Time for a new cluch
Clutch slipped pretty good at the track so im thinking its time for a new one. Been hearing a lot of good things about Competition Clutches. Thinking about going with the 2250 Stage 2 kit. Anyone have any input or suggestions before I order this clutch? Thanks!

I called them last thurs and they dont show the 2.5 kit for the LT1. Thats what I was going to get. With my future plans I ended up getting the Stage 4 kit which I believe is good for 600-650hp. Not a puck style tho so still supposed to be good streetable clutch. It shipped out wed so hopefully I will get it today or sat. I'm looking for feedback on them as well. And will give you guys feedback once I get mine in. T.

Wow, just realized I can't spell clutch
I called them up and they recommended a stage 2 so thats what I went with. Should be here a week from now. I asked them about the 2.5 and like others have said, since it is a kevlar clutch, it would likely begin to slip from daily driving habbits. Im not sure how true that is, but oh well.

if you beat on a kevlar clutch it would hold up better...but not pratical on a street car.
if it is not deeply gauged, cracked or warped a FW can be resurfaced 3-5 times depending how much material is taken off each time.
