Default Any difference between painted/stainless headers?

other than looks? I know stainless steel looks better but I can get some painted ones almost $150 dollars cheaper. Im guessing theres no difference performance wise??

Coated can bring under the hood temps down and prolong the rusting process as opposed to a painted header. A stainless steel header is ideal. Hell, stainless AND coated ;D

But depending on your application and goals, a mild steel uncoated header will suite your needs just fine.

Thats basically what I thought. Thanks for the help. I think I'll just get some painted ones and call it a day

After switching from a rusted, painted header to a stainless header, I'll never go back. The corrosion resistance is well worth the added price.
