Default motor ?

I have a 96 z28 lt1 camaro I blew the motor up but I have a 93 lt1 to go back in it. I've read some stuff like u half to take a couple parts off the 96 motor to put on 93 correct me if I'm rong little feed back would be great thanks guys need more info let me no plez still new at this game!!!

Things you need to reuse:

96 timing cover
96 optispark
96 knock sensor
96 crank sprocket
96 opti harness/vacuum lines
96 injectors, fuel rail
96 intake manifold
96 engine harness and all electronics
96 knock sensor

I'm just going to stop typing - bolt everything that isn't the block, crank, rods, pistons, oil pan, and heads off of the 96 onto the 93 block.

Ok thanks Joe lol u didn't half to go that far lol I was just curious just wanted to no the facts before I started! Like the knock senser and my timing cover if that was true or not thanks again Joe!!!!!

Just curious why do u half to take the crank sprocket off the 96 and put on 93 crank is that wat the crank senser reads!

96 is shorter due to you using the crank sensor.

Can I put my 96 crank in a 93 motor! I honed the 93 block out but I dropped a piston and broke the Damn thing my stupid drunk ***! But neways I was wonder can I use my 96 piston and crank if so let me no thanks!
