Default Coolant lines question

I swapped the radiator tonite on my 93 auto TA - there were two metal lines on the passenger side w/ 13mm fittings... What are they for? ...i noticed the lower one has a slight leak so can I delete it entirely and plug the holes?

TIA

Transmission cooler lines. No, you can't delete them.

Leaking what? If you're using Dex-Cool (red) coolant it'd look close to the color of trans fluid. Wouldn't you hate to find out you replaced your radiator instead of a trans cooler line?

If you have green coming out around it you might have cracked the radiator tank on that side from over torquing the cooler line.

Its the red dex cool leaking - the lower metal line turns and goes in front of the motor and into a hose. Its the metal/hose connector thats leaking

NM, it has to be the larger hose above the metal line leaking onto it
