Stock pushrods ????
Alright , heres the deal. Im getting a lt4 hot cam kit. Would I be okay with out changing the pushrods? I am not installing this myself, which is the reason why I am trying to save as much money as possible. Thanks for any responses in advance!

I broke my stock pushrods on a CC305 cam spinning less than 6000 rpm. The ***** on the rocker ends broke off 4 or 5 of them. I would spend the extra $80 or so and get some better ones.
And I'm pretty sure I've heard some people say not to run the springs that come with the hot cam kit, but you might want to search around for info on that.

when modding a engine with stronger springs and making higher revs it is a good idea to upgrade PR. Don't have to but a "good" idea.
TrickFlo .080 wall chrome molly PR. 7.200" should still be fine without any head/block milling

no way i wouldnt spend the 80 dollars bro. id also forget about the springs in the kit, id get a custom ground "hotcam" Le and Ai offer them, they also offer better spring kits with there stuff. Unless your getting this kit for really cheap i wouldnt go with it. Just my opinion. If you already have it deff spend the 80 bucks and get some real pushrods

I got a good deal on a custom grind cam from LE....not sue who AI is...break it down for me! .....LE gave me a good price, would fit right into my budget with out the rods....The way things look , it seems like im going to have to cash out a little bit more.
p.s. thanks to everyone else that responded

IMHO the point is NSA or SA on the RR when doing a cam/spring upgrade which basically lets the motor spin higher and make morre power a thicker wall PR which would also be "chromoly" is advised. Stock PR will work but be more prone to flex under high RPM conditions and a spring putting more pressure on them.
