Default Die Out Question

Here is the deal. Most of LS1tech knows about the problems i have been having on my 94 formula, however i have figured out most of my issues. I can get over one simple issue and maybe someone knows the problem. Im going to do this in steps so it make it easy.

1. I get in my car, turn the key. car starts perfect. No massive cranking, perfect start no issues.

I drive it around not a issue.
get home take a shower to go back out later. The car starts then dies. It will do this until i disconnect the negitive cable again then and only then will the car start back up and run without dying. WTF is going on with this car ?

I have constant spark and fuel. The car starts every time but will die after the first run, after the battery is disconnected.

I do know about the resistor trick for the Anit Theft but not getting any results out of that.

any suggestions ?

damn it I thought I you sold this car already????

Either way, does it stay running and NEVER die out after the 2nd restart?

im guessing you dont have an aftermarket alarm? had a similar problem with my emobilizer.

try a bare braided ground strap from motor to frame. ive seen this fix many intermittent starting issues. good luck

i am just curious. how long does it need to be running on the first startup for it to do this on the second startup attempt? how long are you leaving it off after the first statup before you try starting it again?

Also might want to look at the ignition switch, have to lower the steering column but its pretty easy. Look for any burn or arcing Marks, once it gets hot it will act funny
