94 z28 driverside valve help!!
So I know I need to get the hayes book for the car, but Im tryin to get the valve cover off the driver side but I have the stupid air valve pipe coming from the exhaust manifold blocking it, I sprayed the bolt with wd-40 and tried taking it off with wrench it does not want to budge how did you guys get it off ? Im wanting to do this asap because I bought new 2 stock rocker arms and 2 pushrod for the one cylinder that went bad until I get those funds soon to do them all. I need to make sure that the ones in there are at least 1.5 and not aftermarket b.c It has a cam but Im not sure what one and what else did the older dumbass owner did. HELP PLEASE!
I want to get on the road soon
ohh I would have to take back the stock ones if there aftermarket before reciept exchange ends

Have you tried PB Blast? Stuff is amazing.
And for a last ditch effort...
You can invest in an "equalizer"... a 4 foot metal bar that will slip over a wrench. I cant tell you how many times its leveled the playing field against stuck and rusted bolts...

i had the same deal happen about 2 weeks ago, i heated it....nothing, penetrating fluid......nothing, put a big azz bar and wrench on it.....the top of that fitting is now no longer hex, its an oblonged hex lol. i bent it back out of the way. you dont need much just watch it and stop if it starts to kink or anything. after 2 days i decided to take the dang thing off and just pinched the bottom and cut it off then welded it shut.

In the picture you've posted, your set-up looks a little different than mine. Yours looks like the nut is a male thread, which threads down into the manifold, and the tube is held in by compression. On my '96, the nut is a female thread, which locks down over a taper on the manifold.
If yours is indeed a male thread, try this. Start the car and get the manifold heated up. Take an old candle, and hold it up against the nut, allowing some of the wax to melt and flow into the threads. Remove the nut....
