I am Building a 95 trans am M6 Car. I bought the car and it was broke But the car ran 13.0 on Street tires with a Shotty Driver. I Really dont know what the car will do as i have not even heard it run. I am Currently Rebuilding the motor and it already has been bored .030 over has a comp cam extreme energy cam, .495/5.03 lift 269/276 dur. Ported and Polished heads, Not sure who They were Done by but Look Real Good nice finish. Other Mods on car are LS1 Ram Air Box with Functional hood (98+ Front end Swap) still need to pick a Cat back but will probably have a cut-out and possibly True Duals?? 3.73 Gear with a Posi unit again not sure what but its not stock. MSD Cap and Rotor MSD Coil. Stock Injectors and Throttle body.

Question is..What Cam if any Could i run to Get into Or Real Close to the 11's?? What else would i need To Change??

Saw a kid at the Track the other night that Says all he had was a 383 bottom end 8.5:1 Compression (going to Boost Soon) and a XFI 292 Cam LT's Throttle body 3.90 gear CAI..

Theres two ways to go about doing it, brute power, or traction. Seems like your the brute power type.

You can use pretty much any cam, I could see the A/I 226/234 cam or the 230/238 cam working well for you or cc306 cc503 gm847 LE product, and the following to match if you dont have it: Valve springs, Pushrods, Lifters, 1.6 Rocker arms.

Yeah I def. like Torque.. I know the Car will neeed to hook to run anything i will be working on that as soon as i get the car running again. I also Have a N.O.S Kit i will be installing but i want to see what it will run on the motor first..

I dont know what springs are in the heads but i will have them checked out if i change the cam i do have a good set of Pushrods the lifters are not stock but i dont knwo what they are and i also have 1.6 RR's.
