Default starting my rear mount turbo build

just as the title states im going with a rear mount t72 with a a2a intercooler. i was going to go water to air but i dont feel like fabbing it all up. so i think im gonna do a 31x11.75x3or4 and im going to do a meth kit with it so i will not have to cut my bumper... i dont really care about my bumper supports or cutting into that i just dont feel like doing my actual bumper... i also am going to buy u universal piping kit for the intercooler since i can tig aluminum i dont really car about mock up and all.

outside of the main components im doing a single wilpro 255 with hotwire on 60# injectors. abs delete for room. and guages yada yada

i think i got it all down pat but i have a few Q's.

first will i be fine with the intercooler running with no holes in the bumper. (ill be running 8psi-fun fact) since i will have that meth i figured it would be alright

i got another question i will just have to think of it later lol

thanks

Are you going to put an intercooler on the front of the radiator? you should be fine since the slit at the bottom will pull up air.

As for the fogs yeah I know what you mean, but hey it all depends what you want more, performance or looks.

Default $0.02

first off spending $250 on HIDs was a mistake lol... mine cost $62 shipped and have worked perfect for 2 years and counting on a DD

anyways i remember reading something a while ago that says you absolutely should not return turbo oil to the valve cover.. had something to do with the extreme heat on the valvetrain.. my best advice would be to figure out another option such as tapping right into the pan or adding a cooler before it goes back in the motor... just a lil insurance

im thinking about putting a piece of sheet metal welded to bottom of the intercooler to pull up the air and put some grate type of stuff up to stop the rocks. what you guys think?

Many of us are running incut front bumpers with fog lights removed and have no flow issues. If you put an air dam infront of the radiator air dam this os going to effect the air flow to the radiator greatly. With the meth and cooler you should be fine at 7 psi.

Yeathat makes no sense. You should most definitely sell me your full catback for next to nothing and then spend twice that in building a new one. That sounds like the best idea to me....... haha

im gonna try and keep this simple.

my muffler is clamped on. im gonna unclamp it and clamp on my turbo piping with the flange that the actual turbo connects to.
