Not a horrible issue but alittle upset I couldn't get this on today. The packaging says to cut an inch off for SS models. This isn't an SS and it's about 2inches i'm going to chop off.

I almost never expect aftermarket parts to be a 100% perfect fit and I never really get upset anymore. Tweaking them to fit is pretty much the norm and should be expected to some extent. Get the Sawzall out and cut that bitch up.

We make them longer to fit different applications. Just the same with our jegster roll bars. Usually about 2 to 3in longer than needed.

Yeah my Trick flow needed about a 3-4 inch trim. My bros car needed the same. Seems the metal ones come to long. Trims to fit and they work great.

shouldve just done the all mighty ls1 lid swap.

And the 1LE elbow is better then the metal ones, you mightve opened a can that you didnt mean to, but basically it ends with the word heatsoak lol. Also the 1le is a bit easier to put on and take off since you can work with it a bit more then metal lol. Those elbows just blow my mind, rubber or metal, it amazes me how much of a PITA they can be for such a simple freaking peice.
