Default Steam Pipe A/C Seals

Ive searched that people buy these a/c seals and i just wanted to double check that its the right package, im still having a leak through my steam pipe on my driver side. Also i broke my oil pressure sending unit, is this something i have to get through the dealer, autozone couldnt cross gm numbers on it. Thanks

I found a A/C washer that had a metal ring on the outside with a rubber washer on the inside. They were really cheap too. The oil pressure sender unit can be bought anywhere. It might be located on the parts warehouse computer as a oil pressure switch, since it is used on the dash gauge and not a sensor for the PCM.

They are called stat-o-seal washers... try a local big rig shop.

No type of regular O-Ring seal will stay under the bolt head when you tighten it down, they will not work.

The other guys are right, Stat-o-Seal washers are what you want:

I couldn't find those #$@&ing washers either so I converted mine to AN fittings and braided lines.

Yeah, they can be tough to find. They're often considered air conditioning components. I'll bet that's how the OP ended up with A/C O-Rings.

They're also used as oil cooler piping seals.

Autozone has a seal kit that has the washers and all the O-rings for $6.99. It's part number MT2541. My local AZ had it in stock.

Thanks for all the replies, check this out i think i may have found my problem

Look at the left bolt, the thread is somewhat smashed in, would this cause my leak along with the washer? Keep in mind i did have the right seal on before i bought the stupid a/c washers.
