Default Weird????

Well today I went and switched the PCM from my OBD1 thats in mine to the Original OBD2 just to see if my tune would happen to be the problem with my car and when i drove it I had all my gears with the OBD2 and my OBD1 didn't

This have anything to do with the tranny or is my OBD1 tune just THAT off?????

Im so lost

Every thing has been in the tune put a stockish tune back on it that had an A4 tuned into it and shifted fine and everything was fine

so you fixed the problem or what?

I would say if the car works with the obd2 computer then tune that one.

got it working decent with the OBD1 now. Its weird i copied all the tables that i thought pertained to the tranny too the base tune that was on the PCM when i got it and there was no 1st gear and such

I found a stock tune and copied all my spark tables and everything needed and didn't touch the tranny and I have 1st through 4th still a lil shaky on the tune. Going to keep asking around and see how close i can get it and see If i can get it right if not ill have someone professionally tune the computer (Moe Horsepower PCMforless Solomon...etc)

That is why we said to copy your spark/fuel tables from your tuned computer into a stock A4 tune, instead of trying to copy the stock A4 tune's tranny tables into your current tune :p.

At first i was just unsure how to copy the tables over did a lil messing with and it some research and found out how stupid easy it was!! thanks for everyone and the help its "almost" there. Pretty sure I'm going to pay to get a tune so I don't mess anything up in the learning process
