Default 2 Idle vids of decent quality..

Well the Car is back together and running, i made a post awhile ago when it was running again but didnt have any decent vids, the camera i use has a good camera but a horrible mic. I got a new phone and it seems to be better then the camera haha!

Ive put about 20 miles on her since the build and she has probably an hour or 2 of run time. Befor the build she was stock except for a 3500 stall, flowmaster cat back, ls1 lid and a cut out. Now she has the jet hots, hooker y pipe, the cam and tune and all supporting valvetrain mods.

the cam is a 226/232 .606/.603 108lsa, and i absolutly love it so far. She has some cam surge when the converter locks up which is kind of annoying but thats the price you pay i guess. Power is awesome, from 1500-5000 she gets it done!

Here are the two vids, The exhaust is 3" y pipe into a 2.75" pipe so that needs to be address'd, but she sounds wicked with it!

its a 4-5 year old LE/BRE grind, Was in a motor for like 1500 miles i want to say and then taken out since it kept breaking springs. (beehive springs)

I am running patriot 8401-bsbc spring kit installed @ 1.750 (Orginally spec'd for 8501-bsbc installed @ 1.780.) LS7 lifters, 7.200 trickflow chromemoly pushrods, ARP rocker studs, Comp Cams ultra pro mag 1.6 roller rockers.

The valve springs were a issue since i didnt know they installed at 1.750 with stock heads! the 8501's wouldve put to much pressure on everything at 1.750. The 8401's are good to 650 lift, technically im at 656 and 653 but coil bind doesnt happen till 1.090 and those numbers put me at 1.144 so its still ok. The main thing i was told about the valve springs is to NOT use beehives lol.

Lloyd elliot gave me the recc parts list after he verified what the cam was. He was nothing but helpful and amazingly i didnt pay him a penny yet, that says alot. I also cross referenced with BRE to make sure the cam was the cam everyone said it was. Comp cams even had it on record as being spec'd by them, i did my homework lol. LE told me the cam was similar to a cc306 but did everything at a lower rpm, so that right there won it.

Also the car is a toy, its not my daily driver, but it was meant to sit in traffic if need be and make a 40 mile round trip to work and back if i want it to. My brakes work awesome, no vac issues at all either.

I just hope she doesnt eat up my pushrods and springs lol, she is pretty viscous but sounds amazing when revved!
