Lightbulb Build my 1200 budget plz

So I will have about $1200 at the end of this next week and I want to go about it right, and from ppl that know these lt1 best and have already been where I am. First off before people start saying to do n20, I do not want nitrous I want consistent power, thats more of something near the end. My plans is DD car that can hit 13.00 or close to it, Somewhat of street/drag car, would like to get near 350-370rwhp. The only thing is I have been CONSIDERING A hood and when I get money will probably through a want to buy thread in classified for 93-97 SS Hood.
miles : 117k and auto tranny

Current mods: Moroso CAI, new ngk plugs, auto lite wires,
mobil 1 synt oil change, 02 SS rearend,
02 SS rims with newer tires will get the brand later,02 SS brakes
3in straight pipes from cat back, hurst shift kit,
some unknown cam, last owner did not know what i was he said owner b4 did it, you can tell in idle it is camed and the valve look really clean and do not see numbers anywhere , the rockers are stock and I do not know if there is After marker tq converter in it.

Questions I have: how come you guys only say to get the three main tq converter brands to get yank and i cant remembr othe 2 but why not the other ones
If I get pacesetter headers non painted race ones will there be melting issues someone said there would be or no? Last but not least in my fuse box inside car I am missing 3 fuses ign, accy, bat am I not supposed to have those or do I need them (b.c some1 mite have taken out a fuse and not put in)
THx and sorry for rambling

350-370hp for $1200 is probably not gonna happen. 13.00's in the quarter is just a matter of a correct running LT1 motor AND making USE of the stock LT1's power as I have done with exhaust manifolds still on the car. I did not do it for $1200.

The car probably has a Hotcam or something similar. Do the rockers with some good springs. Buy the ebay headers that come with a y pipe and get a muffler, its gonna get loud. A mail order tune isnt going to be very close since you dont know what cam is in it.

Get us an idle video posted.

yea it's possible with unknown cam, but it's gotta get off the line for decent numbers at the track

what is the difference between mild street edge and street edge, Is it hard to install tq conver? and is the race non painted pacesetters good, and do they have a melting issue?

If you let a wire touch the headers they will melt ceramic coated or painted. I ran painted pacesetters with no issues besides a few burnt plugwires that were touching. I had to move the steering column over with them to. Don't use the gaskets that come with them or the extension wires. The bolts suck to but are useable.

Yes. I'm actually running autozone stock replacements with no problems with eBay headers.
