camshaft removal help
Im trying to remove the cam in my 95 lt1 and it appears as if the cam i caught on something when i try to pull it out. it comes out about an inch and it gets caught. anybody have suggestions?

All the lifters out?
Not sure if this may sound dumb to you or not, however the cam doesn't slide out effortlessly. You have to fandangle it through the bearing journals while being as gentle as possible so you don't damage a bearing. If you don't have them already, get three 3" bolts that fasten onto the camshaft nose for leverage when you first start pulling the cam.
