Default oil pump drive check?

So my 355 lt1 has no oil pressure and I'm pretty sure I've traced it back to the oil pump drive itself how can i check this and can i replace it by just removing the intake?

Remove intake, then pull out the stub drive. Simple as that.

This problem is kinda like An LT1 STD ... what's the magic combo ? Cast on cast ?billet on billet ? composit on composit? and lube? Gear part #'s? There needs to be a sticky on how to avoid this issue I would think ...as it's a HUGE costly problem
