Default Superflow 600 Numbers

These heads came out of a 95 Buick Roadmaster.

STOCK:

valve lift cfm
.100------------58.2
.200------------105.4
.300------------151.6
.400------------178.8
.500------------187.5

After some mild port work:

valve lift cfm
.100-----------58.4
.200-----------100.2
.300-----------154.2
.400-----------187.4
.500-----------205.2

Numbers are from a Superflow 600. All flow data is at 28 inches of H20. All numbers are intake i have not had a chance to test the exhaust side yet. These numbers just seem a little low to me. Does anyone have any flow numbers for stock cast iron heads?

Why didn't you test to at least .600? The numbers were still climbing, and no cam worth installing is under .500 lift.

The numbers by themselves seem low, but flow benches are so easily skewed its not even funny...what was the bore size and fixture type?

What is the cross-section area of the intake ports?
