Default Lt1 egr delete questions. Help

94 trans am. LT1. I am doing an egr/air delete and all i have left to do is remove the egr. I have never done this before so i am in need of some help. SO all i need to do is take all egr components off and bolt on the egr block of plates and put a cap on the intake where the vacuum line went?? Does anything need to be done to the PCM? Any tips/help would be awsome.

You also need to plug the exhaust manifold/headers. You may get an SES light, you may not. I've heard some do, some don't. I didn't when I did it on my 93 LT1. Has your PCM been tuned?

Programming the pcm has to be done or you will set a ses light. All that needs to be done I'd to program it for those functions to activate at an unreachable amount so there for it will never set the light and show as it is still active and ready.
