I'll take some pics of my family's set up next time I'm home. We don't have an lt1, but we do have a 632 BBC 72 Camaro But an lt1 fbody will fit just as snug.

2000 GMC Sierra 1500 added Air Lift 2000 air bags to level when loaded, upgraded bands and clutches in the 4L60E and big trans cooler, 18' PJ trailer 4' dovetail. Pulls great, gets 11.5 mpg as it sits with atv, extra fuel, generator, tools, coolers and 3 people with luggage for 4 days.

More pics of car. Looks sweet.

I pull mine with an '07 Chevrolet Dmax 3/4 ton 4x4, 6sp Allison trans, stock gearing with a 6" lift. I need to get an air bag set-up though, but overall it pulls it without issue. Trailer is an 18' Big Tex car hauler, with home made ramp extensions (these cars are a pain to get on/off w/out scraping bottom of front bumper cover) and an aluminum diamond plate rock guard.

It turns out that there are no merit badges handed out for that. Nice that you can though
