Look over in the transmission section. It's a sticky within the "Stickies are in here!" sticky.

the stickies are helpful

*153 tooth flexplate for 1pc seal with 10.75 bolt circle for torque convertor - be sure to get external or nuetral balance based on your engine
*torque convertor 10.75" bolt circle for th400/th350 chevy - snout will fit the LT1 crank
*th400 short tail (9") from chevy
*dipstick from Lokar/Madman
*trans coolant line adapters to stock lines - or fabricate your own trans cooler lines.
*th400 conversion crossmember (stock 6spd member may work?)
*torque arm mount for th400 - either trans or chassis mounted
*if you want automatic - need vacuum modulator hooked up to intake source
*if you don't - manual valve body
*if you want stock shifter, forward shift - the shifter/cable and trans lever from your 4l60e works, but the cable mount bracket to trans pan will need modified. I had to cut and weld mine to get proper alignment.
* for aftermarket shifter - aftermarket stuff.
*driveshaft - never believe they will fit - you need a th400 trans yoke and must fit the shaft to your car. Maybe you'll get lucky.
*VSS for speedometer/cruise control to work. If you get a later trans from a computer truck / car it might have this, if not you'll need to buy the 40 pulse reluctor, sensor and pigtail. Easy install in trans and hook to your stock 4l60e harness
* PCM - mine did not throw any error codes with the harness left unplugged. Results may vary - you might need trans programmed out of the PCM.
*read the stickies at least 10 times and shop wisely.

My TH400 converter, a small TTI, bolted to the original 4L60E flex plate.
