Default A mirror problem

My driver side mirror keeps readjusting itself to way out. Looks like it flops around more now in wind too. What happened to my mirror, did something come detached? Ideas, fixes?

Manual mirror, don't know when it happened either. I drove to PA, mirror was fine the whole trip. Threw the keys to my Dad while I was up, I hopped in the passenger side and he tells me the mirror is no where near right. I didn't have much fun being partially blind on the 1150 mile trip back to FL.

Sounds like one of the cables broke or the mirror iself is coming loose. Hard to say without seeing it. That's a long drive for having a blind spot. Glad you made it back to this wounderful hot *** state of ours.

Yeah I had to leave 70s-low 80s, in the 50s at night to come back here.

Is there anyway to fix the inside guts of the mirrors or is it a lost cause and I should start shopping for a whole assembly?

Mine is also loose...once the inside bracket is broken you have to replace the whole damn thing. The top part of the bracket broke on mine somehow (probably some ******* opening a door on it) now it flops in the wind and shakes when I close the door. You can pick one up on ebay or the junkyard cheap..just got to know somebody at a bodyshop to paint it to match for cheap.

I have a few electric mirrors. Not sure if you want to look at or not. I think green and black ones

Well I have a manual mirror, that I always adjusted by hand. Can I adjust the electric mirror by hand? If so and you have a black one I am interested.
