Mine may be in the trash. Dunno if I still have it. If you want it on it's as hard as jacking up the car and doing the 4 bolts.

Is it for frame support? If so it might be a good idea for me to put it back on since I have t-tops.

Not a big deal, they usually vibrate on the exhaust anyways

Called the g-load brace, it doesn't do much. Mine has been off for 10 years.

no, no, NO! It's the muffler bearing grease holder thingy bracket!

I do like the burnout mark on the tile floor under the brace.

I think the tunnel brace should not only be retained, it should be upgraded to one of the much stronger ones on the aftermarket. GM would NOT have designed, made and installed one on every single F-body if they didn't think it was needed.

I just put one on my car also. It's well engineered and made in the USA to boot!

Oh yeah, that's cool too. I had the same setup (with the flat bar without the LT drop) but the loop was in the way of my new exhaust. A few skilled swipes with the sazall and the loop was gone.

Ugh, that's just a ton of bang and clang posted above. I can't believe I ran a short torque arm for as many years as I did. Went back to a full length with no regrets.
