Lsx's are a dime a dozen. How many ZERO mile lt5's have you ever seen?

How many LT5s have you seen period? If I had the money, and wanted to do something truly unique (and very expensive), I'd use one of these over an LSX any day.

I live about 40 miles from one of Mercury Marines test beds, and they had a factory LT5 on a dyno @ 5000 plus RPM for over 24 hours straight!!!

If I had the cash I'd buy it. Not to use it but to store it as a collectible. One day a zero mile factory crate motor will be worth more then my investment.

I think it's the same as lt1 for bell housing and the lt5 is a better motor than the ls1 is why I want it the cost to make is why gm went with a push rod

How much do you want to use this motor? While it is great that it is new, I hope you never have to replace anything on it. It's only going to get harder an more expensive to own and use these motors.

Im meeting with this week, im driving from florida to look at this thing. I would of course put it in a 91 zr1 of course. harder to find parts makes it worth much much more than something you can find anywhere. thats why the engine is the price it is. Zr1 stuff is not an easy find

Was at a car show Saturday and a buy showed up with a c4 Vette. I walked around from behind another car and saw it. I thought "Ah nice, too bad it isn't a lt5" Walked further and saw the zr1. Jaw dropped, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Pictures up tomorrow. Night.
