Default Balancer ?

At wat point should a aftermarket balancer. I plan on spinning to arould 6800 rpm. Am i still ok on the stock unit? Thanks

I would use a fluid damp for added protection. Is this a stock bottom end or built? Either way engine harmonics at all rpms can kill bearing. Worth the money IMO

My stock shortblock car has been to 7k tons of times, never had an issue.

Haven't had an issue yet. Those rpms are very hard on stock bearings and rod bolts. The fluid is a little extra protection at those rpms. Some engines last a week and some a year at those rpms. The engine harmonics at those rpms can be very harsh.
