Default Speed INC - Alt and PS Bracket

Would like to here some insight on these brackets if anyone has one whether there good or bad. I recently customized my stock bracket and it looks like everything is lined up straight and doesnt wobble or anything. Belt usually squeels on startup but goes away and sometimes appears as im slowing down and pop it into neutral and the rpms dip down and it will squeel like a ************. Ive tried screwing with it and im just done with it. Either i find a stock unmodded bracket and a ac delete pulley or i go with the Speed INC pulleys and bracket. Just want some guys on here that have problems come up and what the overall response to them are.

Thanks!

I have the ALT-PS bracket and am very happy with it. I had to machine one of the spacers down a little to get everything to line up right but no big issue. Blocks can have different tolerances and that's to be expected with almost anything custom.

I have the same one and love it. I had no issues with mine except I had to get one longer bolt. Speedinc told me about it when I got the kit though.

thanks guys very clean engine bays... hoping to see if i can find one used or at worst ill have to order one new and take the hit. 400 is alot for a damn bracket setup but if it saves me from cheaping up belts and the hassle i guess its worth it then to have to go back to a stock setup.

I've got the full ps / alt kit and have had nothing but problems with it. I'm on my second kit and both of them chewed up belts like a mother ****** and squealed. Nothing I did helped. I'm finally at the point where I have half a belt and it's not chewing it up anymore and I have to just leave it that way.

Sucks when you pay ******* $400 for something like that.

I had one of the Speed Inc kits and loved it! Didn't have a single problem with it at all. Only reason I got rid of it is I deleted my power steering.

this is what i have, but my belt squeaks. At first it was really bad, but after replacing the ALT. and then putting a EWP on there, it doesn't squeak as bad, so i figure its just a pully that just not quite lined up

Seems like a lot of people have alignment issues and belt squealing with this kit. Idk for the money they are charging for such a simple product it should be dead on.

And if it's the tolerances of the block and heads that affect it, they should take that into consideration and offer different size spacers / washers or whatever they need to do. They should have it down to a science.

I have the kit that relocates the alt and keeps the ac and ps, here are some pics of my setup and my engine builder commented that this was the first aftermarket accesory drive kit that "required NO MODIFICATION" to get it to fit.

Default Speed inc alt ps kit!

[

Here's the kit I got from Ponyhntr. I just gave it a little polishing and clear coated it up and wellahh! Yesterday I got new allen head bolts for it but only for appearance. I just have to re-install it now! And I will update my build post.

"Daddy" yes mine is the SpeedInc kit which keeps the power steering and air conditioning but relocates the altenator so I can use tall valve covers and keep all of my accessories.
