spark coming off msd wire
Gonna get right to the point. Whenever I installed my msd box I noticed that a spark would come off the 5th spark plug wire n hit my header. Its clear as day u can litterlly see spark hitting my header. All my spark plus wires are good.
The car does miss and sputter while driving.

Unless boost or nitrous are involved an ignition box is a wasted effort and will cause undo wear to ignition components.
Your problem is a bad wire, possible aggravated by a bad connection to the plug or a bad plug causing massive resistance that makes it easier for the arc to go through the wire.
Even on my car I see no benefit from an ignition box and it makes a pretty substantial amount of power for a little NA motor.
I will admit my first modification and major mistake with this thing was a expensive ignition system. The only thing it did for me was cause problems. The one I tried more recently after the car started making power just doesn't do anything, might actually slow the car .05 if it does anything atall.

Thanks for the info guys.
meh.. on the damaged wire. I replaced it the damaged wire all ready. My other guess would be the the spark plug wire is not fully making connection to the spark plug. Ill diagnose n up date. Thanks
