did you have the intake manifold bored out to 58mm?

if not 58mm blades bind in 54mm stock intake manifold openings

You didn't really answer ****** question. Did you bore out the intake? Your response is confusing.

Check the clockspring on the throttle body shaft. A shot of oil might help. Also check that the cable isn't binding from the pedal to the throttle body.

had the same problem with my PP 58mm but mine stuck in the closed position. It eventually just stopped doing it after a good 1,000 miles or so. It still does it occasionally but not nearly as much. The return spring on them suck and are pretty weak.

and make sure the nut on the arm on the throttle body is tight. Mine was loose and i didnt realise it until i drove it. got stuck like 1/4 throttle.

I had to port my intake to match my throttle body. The one on the left is ported. I just bold it up to see how it looked. Never got a pic of the finished product. I did it all my self.

You do realize a 58mm TB is completely useless unless your intake manifold is ported to match....right? Stock intake manifold inlets are only 54mm. Which is what everyone here is saying Just get a 52mm TB unless you are getting the intake ported. You are wasting your time and money otherwise and won't see any HP gains.

Looks good. What did you use to bore the intake out, also how long did it take you?

You can probably do it with a dremel tool or something....I just bought a ported one off ebay...the intake runners are ported too; so probably a little more HP with ported heads. It was also painted red to add a little show to the engine compartment.

I used a die grinder with an aluminum cutting bit them finished it off with a dremel to polish it. You can get a grinding cone for a grinder just be careful not to get carried away. It took about 15 min per hole.
