Default Swapping a '93 LT1 to a '94 Z28

Okay, I know this sounds backwards, but I found too good of a deal to pass up!
I just picked up a '93 Z28 with built LT1 & 4L60e, with 2000 miles on it. The body was torn up in the Joplin MO tornado. I am planning on using it in my '94 Z28 (blown AND blown-up LT1). What is my best play?
Should I unharness them both & use the '93 harness in my '94, OR should I change some parts to use the '94 comp & harness? (If so, what do I need to change?)'
To make the plot thicker, I am hoping to re-use my old Powerdyne on the new engine, too (is 10.7 to 1 forged too much compression?).
The '93 computer also has a pcmforless tune that matches the hooker headers, CC503, 1.6 RRs, 58mm TB, 4.10 gears, etc...

What would YOU do?

10.7:1 is kinda high for FI I think. Probably only able to push 5-6lbs of boost.

if your 93 is a automatic then keep the tranny you have in your 94 along with the ECM, 93 4l60s were basterd years thats when theyy upgraded the 700R4 to the 4L60 but did not set it up for eletronic control (hence the no E behind the name) the 94 had the 4L60

the 93 did not have E transmission unless it was put in there later so keep your 94 tranny and ECM, not sure if I would boost the LT1 or not may want to find a way to drop the compression first

Thanks guys!
So, 10.7 to 1 is a little too hogh to boost? I was wondering about that... I WOULD like to use the tranny tho. Mine is a little bit iffy, now. It's been behind the SC for 7 yrs, & it's beginning to slip some.
Any way I can use BOTH the motor and trans without too much wiring/ computer hassle?
Appreciate the knowledge!

Your 94 transmission is electronically controlled and the 93 is not. For sake of simplicity and ease of tuning in the future, I would stick with your 94 stuff and just use the engine (and using your 94 intake on it).

thats what I was trying to say, you would basicly be putting a 700R4 into your car if you use the 93 transmission, you would do away with the eletronics and have to manually adjust it, it can be done, but why dont you use the Running engine, sell the parts off your other engine to rebuild the tranny and have a good running car, instead of trying to cram random stuff in there and change it all up
