Default air conditiong vents

My air conditioning is blowing extremely cold but only through the foot vents and the windshield defrost vent. I just need to know the name of the part to fix this??? Ps. My vacuum lines are fine behind the hvac.

So that little vacuum T by the evaporator box isn't broken? That's the most common failure point. What you are describing is exactly what happen when the controls lose vacuum. Can you check if there is vacuum at the controls?

On the selector switch I can move it freely and the vacuum is fine but it will not switch from where it is blowing out pf. It doesn't matter what control I switch it too. Hope that helps a little big better.

You're positive you checked your vacuum lines coming from the engine (passenger side intake manifold)?
