Default Gauging Interest....Help me price it

I've been tossing around the idea of selling my car but need some input before I commit to it. I've got a 94 TA specs on it are:

Motor:
383, callies compstar rods, eagle forged crank, diamond pistons, ARP studs, AFR 210 eliminators, scorpian rockers, ported lt4 intake, 60lb injectors, dynaspark opti, holley 58mm tb, CSR waterpump, Aeromotive FPR, milodon 7qt. pan

Trans:
Built t56, Ram powergrip hd, ram flywheel, pro 5.0 shifter

Rearend:
Moser 9in, 35 spline axles, 4.11 w/ spool, denny's nitrous driveshaft

Suspension:
AJE chromoly k member and lower a arms, bmr sfc, umi panhard bar, spohn tq, LCA's

Exhaust:
Pacesetter lt's, ory, borla exhaust

The car has a cage in it and corbeau TRS seats w/ 5 point harness, VFN 4in hood to the windshield. The car has 133,000 on the body but the motor has 1,000 miles on it. The hood is painted now and I have simmons wheels on it now. I will try to get new pics shortly, any help is appreciated.

Dont sell it. You'll hate yourself. Unless you are venturing on to bigger and better things.

I want to build or buy a forced induction motor or car. The current motor is setup for n/a or nitrous so I was trying to see if it would be worth selling the short block or just selling the car

Id say its worth a easy 10k without seeing it. Looks clean and you have some nice hardware in it.

I've only been to the track once and it was without a good tune, I ran 12.2 at 132 with a 2.0 60ft time. I was on 18x8's with street tires. I also went to the dyno trying to get the tune correct and it dynoed 400 at 4500rpm because I maxed out the MAF. So I was going to go SD but ended up buying a DFI unit just havent had the chance to install it yet. According to the engine builder and the program we used to pick the cam and heads it should be every bit of 550hp to the rear wheels

That is a beautiful car! What would you be asking for the short block if you kept the car?

Probably between 4-5k. That would include the oil pan, pick up, cam. I would keep the front cover and opti...etc.

That was next on my list, my buddy Jim and I went to Byron when we finished putting the car together and we were both surprised at the time considering my icm took a crap on me on the ride home.

I'd keep the car if I were you.. 132 trap, how fast you looking to go w/ FI? 9's? I'd raise my 10k and say like previous posted and start at 12.5k maybe more. drivetrain alone is worth a easy 9k

I wanted to run FI because then I wouldn't have to have a big cam in there like I do now and considering the car is more of a street car I thought the FI build would be the way to go

car looks really nice especially for around here that it's stayed in good condition. You drive it on the street though with no windshield wipers? I guess a good weather only car maybe?

I needed the hood clearence for the volant intake I'm running. I didn't like the way the bolt on hood looked because it looked like it just ended instead of flowing all the way to the windshield. And yes it's just a nice day car.

Far as I know Joe is still looking to sell his car and it is a proven performer not a "engine builder says...................."
He has it listed at $10,500 and it has been listed since May.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/vehicle-c...ded-10-5k.html

If you are looking to stay LT1 f-body and just go boost you are going to be MUCH better off remodifying this car. All you really need for boost is dished pistons and more fuel system.

The ONLY way I think you should consider selling would be if you find the already boosted car you want FIRST. Then selling it you are going to take a pounding because as Joe's example shows you you are going to wait a long time or have to drop the price below $10K to make it move.
