I just unplugged mine, lol. I also keep an eye on all my fluids, so..

Is the sensor threaded into the radiator or push-in? Maybe you could use some type of plug, if it threads.

I know some of the six banger camaros, formulas have a plug that goes there..I frankly can't see me run without one, even though they tend to need replacing often. It's a good insurance to have. IMO

Cause I got an LT1 Radiator for the S10 and it has a big hole where that Sensor would go..so I need to plug it.

As far as keeping an eye on it..both the MCSS and the S10 have fender-mounted Coolant Over-flow Resivoirs..so that's pretty much the indicator right there if I'm losing coolant..

New replacement radiators have a block off plate installed. Ask a shop if you can buy one from them. Everyone I get has had it on it. I kept a few just invade I wanted to ever block it off. Try askig around

I know mine is a push in. If you can find one somewhere that would be the best way to go. If you're not using it you can just leave it unplugged.

I bought a Radiator a long time ago that had a part in there that was molded in..no way to remove it.

I just made a plug out of some extra crap I had laying around..
