Default missing but not

ok when i pull away from a stop light some times it sounds like my car is setping or jumping for one rpm to the next never dose this at wot .and when the converter locks up it some times sounds like its missing also. I put a make shift cai on and used a cop car elbow and blocked off the big hole wih rasen and glass it seamed alot fast and would spin the tires like crazy but it feels and seams like it was just a high for the car lasted about 3 weeks. now i can get it to do **** put new wires and plugs in to about the sametime and fuel filter did throw a ses code but i shut the car off and it was gone after that. Im going to pull the plugs and read then in the next week or so ny tips would be nice also what kinda oil do you all use in you 170+ mile lt1s. there i fixed my post happy

blocked off the big hole wih rasen and glass

From the post it looks like you don't have an IAT sensor on the elbow, which should be there. Don't know what problems that can cause. Crossing the plug wires can cause a miss and loss of power. Do you still have a MAF sensor?

were is the free mods post i read something about zip ties

No clue what you're talking about

Holy mother ******* ****! Punctuation man. Periods, commas, colons, etc. Use them SOB's. WTF. God damn that **** is getting ridiculous. And spelling. Holy ****. Can you not spell "though" or "vette" or "seemed" to name a few.....

But to answer you question, or try to, I had the same problem on my 97 Firebird. Random misfires. Never did it at WOT. Turned out that the Opti hadn't **** on itself yet, but its diaper was getting moist. I sold it, the guy replaced opti spark, no more random misfire. Not saying thats your problem, but it very well could be. No way for me to know whilst surfing the inter webs.

Is it surging? Cause mine was surging occasionally as well. Not sure of that was opti related as well but the guy I sold it to said a new opti fixed all the missing and surging.
