thinking about building a street strip car
I aquired a 1995 T/A from a guy that was going to scrap it after he pulled the drivetrain, well I talked him in to letting me pull the drivetrain in trade for the body. So I ended up with a roller that has a salvaged title, a Trans am front and firebird rear lol.
What I want to do for now is start some weight reduction and put a carbed LT1 in and another six speed so I can start having fun with it instead of jumping head first into a full on deal and running out of money and getting tired of it or burnt out.
So I really want to hear from people who have experience with carb, and what is needed to make the m6 work with the carb engine. I am guessing the 2-4 lockout is computer controlled, so will it work? A th350 isnt out of the question either but after wathing Formula383 and some others I want to go m6 for now.
Any advice, tips, or help will be appreciated from all.
Thanks
Andrew
