Default Manual brakes

On the 93-97 trans and can you take out the booster and just run the master cylinder only? I have a double flaring tool and a new proportioning valve to bypass the abs while I'm at it.

Do I need to shorten the push rod or anything like that?

you need to buy the kit, it comes with the push rod and mntg plate
