Default Ignition Switch heat problem

On my 95' Trans Am I have put a ignition switch in again, its kinda hit of miss on weather it will work. This is number 3 in 3-4 years, but I hear and can see there is a heat issue at the blue plug. Is there a fix for it? Run heavy gauge wire or anything? Also where does the "pink" wire that gets hot connect too? One end is the switch, where is the other go too? Thanks
