1993 Z28 LT1 is Studdering (Famous I know)
Under slow acceleration my car is studdering. Like if i leave a gas pump or walmart parking lot, as i drive away it starts too studder bad, will catch itself faster i go...I have done plugs (No help).....I used the paper clip method to check for flashing codes on my dash and its not throwing any....It also seems to do it more after driving vs when i first start the car in the morning it never does it....with no codes just wondering if i jump straight to opti or not?
Thanks Guys (First LT1)

make sure the MAF is plugged in kinda hard to test it without a tech 2, but thats describes what my car did to the T before i put an opti in. real quick theres 2 injector fuzes make sure
there both good and getting power before doing anything, my car used to blow thoose things to pieces because of a bad injector. 3 fuzes and 8 injectors later...

OP: as stated check your fuel pressure and ICM then coil. www.shbox.com will help you test those. you could have something more physical giving you issues

Are we talking about the famous hesitation when taking off. Is this car tuned? 93's are the best and just a little faster than the rest. Speed density rules. The reason i ask about being tuned is i had a bad hesitation when i got mine sent it to pcmforless and they put 8 degress of initial timing into it and never hesitated again.

Mine did this too for a little bit....I traced it back to the 87 octane I was putting into it. Since I don't have anyway to see what the ECM is seeing, I guessed at the gas.... Amazing what happens when the engine isn't full of knock retard and is actually up to operating temp....

sounds like an Opti, but i only run 93 Oct in my 93...just does better...but stumbling sounds like and Opti break down. but i would also put a fuel pressure gauge on it and check it during acceleration...pump may be giving out? as far as the LS comments...lol my 93 loves LS1's for dinner...and although i agree the LS technology is better i cant get past the catfish look...LT1's FTW!!!!!

I had a similar problem. The MAP sensor pig tail had come loose. Looked like it was still fastened tight but wasn't. Pushed it back into place and BAM!>
Also check that the opti harness is in good shape and that it is properly connected.

lt1 with 24X conversion eats LS motors all day long, the stroker kit and blower help it out a bit too.
leaking plug wires are easy the safe way is get a spray bottle with soapy water and hose them down start it up and look for sparks.
the more effective way to find a leaky wire is to get some brake clean or other flammable fluid and hose them down with that if you get a fireball from under the hood its time for plug wires.
