HP limits of stock fuel pump?
How much HP can the stock LT1 fuel pump support? The reason I ask is my 383 is about to go in a couple weeks , expecting 400-420 WHP Using 36# injectors. The stock pump has 150K on it, but never had any issues...should I upgrade it now before it gets dyno tuned? Don't fix what isn't broken? What's the better brand if stock isn't gong to handle it: Racetronics or Walbro?

95% of aftermarket fuel pumps are just relabeled Walbros, including the Racetronix. Everything else is cheap Chinese junk.
I wouldn't be concerned with the fuel pump itself but the wiring TO the pump. You want to make sure the pump doesn't lose voltage at WOT on a nice new motor. This is where the harness comes in handy.
Keep in mind though with 150k on the stock pump its days are numbered. I personally would not trust it and would upgrade to the Walbro. Racetronix should be able to hook you up.

My first dyno was cut short because my 140k mile fuel pump was dropping pressure at high rpms at WOT.
Save yourself the time and hassle and swap it out now - its easy and relatively cheap.
I got the Racetronix full kit w/ harness. It comes with EVERYTHING you need, including new glue for the pump tank, and the fused harness runs straight to the alt so it sees more voltage at the pump as well.
