Another "whats it worth"
Ive been thinking about selling my car, problem is i think im going to take a huge hit. Just trying to get a good asking price, or opinion on if it would be best to try and trade this car. In all seriousness i dont think its worth much...2-3k$ (almost as much as i have in it in valvetrain/bolts ons) but i figured id ask, she is no show car.
Its a 1994 trans am. 120-125k miles (i cant even remember, thats how much i drive it!)
Ill start with the bad, that could possibly be overlooked by someone, like i overlooked myself (GRRR):
-Repainted patriot red (the dark red, original color), paint looks good from a far, not to many dings or scratches, some roughness/orange peel.
-Rocker panel covers are cracked in places.
-Drivers side rear quarter molding missing, and shady repair of the dogleg is starting to show.
-Rocker panel damaged with another rocker panel over top of it (this is what i overlooked when getting it)
-pinch weld damaged from rocker panel damage.
-17x9.5 chrome zr1 wheels starting to peel
-Oil leaks from engine, trans and rear end. Nothing major, but they do leak.
The good...
Front tires - 70-80%
Rear tires - 315 Nitto 555r with a couple passes
New front brake pads and rotors
New energy suspension motor mounts
LE 226/232 .603/.603 w/1.6 rockers 108lsa
Comp cams ultra pro mag 1.6 rockers
Patriot 8401 extreme valve springs
ARP rocker studs
Ls7 lifters
Trickflow chromemoly pushrods
Stock replacement timing chain
Taylor plug wires
PCMforless tune
LS1 lid swap
160" t-stat w/ lowered fan turn on temp
TCI3500 converter
Trans cooler
Jet hot long tube headers
Hooker y pipe
3" manual cut out
Flowmaster muffler with dual exit/tips
Corbeau fx1 pro racing seat
No rear seats
AIR delete
EGR delete
This car isnt a daily driver, with a proper dyno tune it would be better on the streets. The valvetrain is quality parts that should last. The leaks are annoying but not that big. The car drives straight even with the damage. The a/c is in the car and works with a recharge, works well actually. it does have a small leak somewhere since it has leaked out over the last winter.
