true dual exhaust questions
Hey guys I'm getting ready to install my new engine and true duals and I'm contemplating going over the rear and out the back or running side exits by the rear tires. If I go the side dumps which mufflers are quieter and flow more, one chamber flows or bullets? Also for guys that dump before the rear while sitting in traffic or idling do you get alot of fumes in the car?

i got mine over the axle and tips out the back like stock. theres no drone i love it! im also running spiral flows and overall its quieter than i thought, but it sounds so good compared to my old magnaflow catback

Dumps before the axle are terrible. I get a nasty drone at 1800rpm. So much so that instead of fixing it with under the axle out the stock placement, I'm just selling the whole car to somebody that can appreciate the bastard I've created.

Thanks guys, I really want to go over each side of the rear and out the back but I'd like to install a Fay's Watts link somewhere down the road and I was told it won't work with TDs over the rear. And I'm afraid that if I go under the rear I'll scrape really bad because I have an S60 dana rear which is huge.

i dont have any good pics at the momnet, i need to get some. its basically just 2.5 in tubing and then the mufflers are not side by side, like they are staggered so that they take up less room. the duals run right in the tunnel beside the torque arm and then over the axle just like stock. the torque arm is stock but it liikes like id have plenty of room still if i wanted to run something else.
i have more clearance than with shortys and mu old catback, but i think that was mainly bc of a crappy y pipe
