VIN DECODER, what happened to compnine?
http://www.compnine.com/
I used to use this site to look up f body's and other vehicles by the VIN to get a lot information.
It appears the site is gone for good.
Anyone have a similar site. Or can get me info on this VIN:
2G2FV22P1R2251370
It's a 94 Formula, main thing I'm trying to get is rear end ratio, 3.23 or 2.73.

I know, but all I have is the vin right now. It's a junker parts car but has complete stock motor. It had a lot of parts thrown in the inside, one t-top is busted and the back glass is busted and it's out in the weather. You could go fishing in the pond in the back floorboard. The shifter was on the driver floor, pedals removed, and I don't remember seeing the center console, but it might be there. I'm giving the guy $225 and hoping the motor is salvagable and that I can sell the few good parts that are left on it. The rear end is complete, the whole front cap is in good conidtion, pcm, wiring harness, etc. Everything on the inside is ruined. It has the original wheels, but I don't think those are worth much.
I'll figure out the gear ratio, I just wondered if theres another site like compnine where you can punch in the vin and get all the info.

I guess the last guy to actually drive the car was going to convert to automatic? There was an A4 sitting in the back of the car, I saw an auto shifter on the driver floor, some pedals on the passenger seat, driveshaft and torque arm inside the car. Looks like they got overwhelmed and gave up.
That would be sweet if the 6 speed was still in the car, but not likely.
