Long Story Short...
The picture makes it look like less damage than it actually is...
So, what do I do now? I'm thinking its totaled... Give me your best course of action: Go!

Quarters are bent. The interior cargo section is essentially flat. I also heard some interesting noises limping it home. Going straight was okay, but it pulled hard to the right and had some turning issues.
I was hit at a light by a Jeep doing 25-30mph.

yeek, those quarters are gonna be the end of it then. Its always hard to tell whats under all the damage. I think shes gonna be done. Even if the body work doesnt total it, im sure the suspension side of things will.

Is there any negotiation or is their word final? They (my insurance) want me to go to a body shop for an estaminet. I'm probably not going to be able to replace the car anyways. And I don't know if I'm up to dealing with the potential body and suspension issues that could arise from this further down the line.

find a "friendly" body shop and try to work it in your favor, if it's the other drivers fault, they will be paying for it all and usually will not total your car.
suspension issues however, may end up being the deal breaker... check it out on your own then make a trip to a shop you think would be "friendly".

Man this brings back memories. Look what happened to me..

You own the car though, no loans? If there's no emotional attachment part it out and start new. The only reason I would see doing that is if there are suspension issues. Funny after my hit the car still drove straight, and sounded like a champ. But the man totaled her

You can reject the insurance offer at first as well. I know a guy that had a cherry ws6 lt1 like 500 miles on it gurage kept hell still had plastic on back seats. Got creamed buy a kid the company offered blue book 8000 I think. he got a lawer they wrote a letter stating that the car was so clean it was basically a brand new car ,and if thier for blue book didn't show the true value of the car. They would have to go with a colecters market ie Barrett Jackson to show a true market value he ended up settling for like 17k he now drives a nice c5 corvette . Took him longer to get his money and he had to pay for a lawer but most company's will settle out of court for more than thier first offer.

If your quarter panels dimpled then you probably have frame damage, which = totaled.
Buy it back then part it out, you should come out on top and be able to get another one plus have some mod money on top.

Yup, I have a few nice dents in the quarters. What do they typically charge to buy it back?
The worst part is that the engine has maybe 10K on it.
Thanks for all your input; I knew I posted this in the right section. The car was a 94 TA GT and my first FBody.

i bought my 87 trans am GTA back (72k original miles), for 250$ or 500$.
Your issue is that the quarters are bent. Not really worth buying it back and fixing it if it totals in my eyes.
It might be worth buying back to get your parts/engine out of. With the money youll get from insurence you should be able to find a nice start, i know of a 6 speed lt1 trans am here for under 2k because it needs a motor, rest of the car is in good shape.

Yep; if I can buy it back for under 500 or so Ill do so to part it out and recover the engine.
Ideally they'll offer close to blue book and I'll be able to farm another 2-3k out of it through the part out. Then I would start the hunt for a clean M6 LT1 car or something. I doubt a could swing an LSx or anything newer.

That is what I would do.
