What does it take as far as internals to build a 4l60/700r4 for 500-600 hp? I have a trans shop that will build what I bring them for next to nothing..

Either that or Performabuilt.

And the longevity of a transmission is more reliant on the quality of the assembler than the quality of the parts. Good parts and shoddy workmanship won't do you any good.

Well aware guys, the shop where a friend is general manager Is a national transmission chain..AAMCO .... Thanks, just looking at options vs cost vs goal ,when I have that tax$$ in my hands i may very well buy a built one from a sponsor..

If you had a built 4l60 sitting by a brand new stock 4l60.. What makes the built one different and better inside.. Is what I'm getting at..
