Question Heater Core Hose Problem

So the other day, i noticed a small drip of coolant dripping off the bottom of the K member. after searching around for the source of the leak, i discovered a very small hole in the return hose of the heater core coming out of the water pump. (number 12 in this picture)

I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to replace just that section of hose? or if i need to buy the whole assembly? any information would be helpful. and if its possible to adapt a piece of hose the same size to fit?

Autodome sales a adhesive tape made for coolant hoses. It works well, but it's just a bandaid. Your best bet is to cut the bad section off and add a new piece of hose.
