Default help new engine or rebuild

I have a 94 formula a4 but swapped w lt4 shortblock. Bout week ago It started knocking hard n my oil pressure drops. I think its a bearing. Someone told me it sounded like a main bearing. I was thinking a rod knock but Idk. Prob have to take apart to make sure. But Idk if I should rebuild or get new motor. Originally I was going to rebuild to a 383 stroker but is it worth putting time n money into or not.

You keep bumping your own posts and you've received TONS of information and suggestions yet you still haven't compiled a plan. What's the deal?
