Default Well I finally figured out where the burning smell was coming from...

That burning smell and maybe the reason why the whole left side of my dashboard has been flashing since the install. The wire on the driver side was touching primary #1. So is this the ABS wire or to the front air bag sensors?

Don't think it's the cruise cable. It goes under the left side front of the car. I'll trace it more later.

That definitely is the cruise control cable. The question is how did that ever get anywhere near the header? Checked mine out tonight, its nowhere near close.

It's a popular problem with LT headers. The cable is routed extremely close. Mine is behind the heat guard that protects the brake lines.

I'm running pacesetters, I bet I have 3"+ of space between the driver side header and that cable. I honestly looked at mine today while just doing a general check and thought how in the world did he burn his?

Do the Jet Hots really **** out to the side that far? My clearance doesn't look anything like that picture he posted.
