Who made the LT1 intake manifold with the long runners back in the late 90's?

Ported stockers are really as good as it's gonna get, except if the new design re-designs the ports taller and longer....can't see spending 300-400 hundred for an intake to make an extra 2-3 horsepower.

It could not pass CARB.it never went into production.Edelbrock said it was good
for 25hp gain not up to 25hp but a full 25 hp gain.this was in the Edelbrock
1996 catalog.I also had one on order through Super Shops and they went
belly up.

They way some of the aftermarket companies test it could have been 25hp with CAI, bigger TB and pcm reprogramming as well vs a high mileage car with original airfilter.
I know that sounds like a stretch but at one point one of the magazines did a Granatelli MAF test and quietly admitted they changed what may have been the original filter at the same time. If they wanted an honest test they would have changed the filter and redyno'd, but that wouldn't have given them the result they wanted.
